A manual-focus lens for Olympus OM mount, easily adaptable to almost all modern cameras except Nikon F-mount DSLRs with an inexpensive (~10 euros) adapter.
Acquired in good state, but with a stuck aperture diaphragm; cleaned and returned to working order.
It's a 5 elements in 5 groups design; all elements are easy to access and clean if needed. There's a spot where coating was degraded on one of the rear elements, and a small surface defect on one of the forward ones; none of them affect the image quality.
Being a 135 mm lens, it can't really be bad, although I'd rate it below other 135 mm lenses I've tried so far. Minimum focusing distance is somewhat long, and closer distances are achieved with a dedicated "macro" ring moving just the front lenses, which is less convenient than continuous focusing; but it allows quite high magnifications. Resolution is okay; I'd say it's a bit soft at f/2.8 which should lend itself well to those vintage-style dreamy portraits, but not to photography that requires fine detail.
Multi-coating is not as good as in modern lenses; using it on a sunny day required some additional efforts in post-processing to get the contrast back. Chromatic aberrations are very low, but there's a lot of purple fringing under high contrast. So, it's better to avoid very sunny days with this one, or at least not point it towards the sun.
Having no cemented lens groups, it can be coerced into producing soap bubble bokeh, but it's not as easy as with 3/3 and 4/4 lenses.
