Toraya is one of Japan’s oldest and most prestigious wagashi (traditional sweet) makers, established in the 16th century and still operating today. These plates are inspired by motifs from minchocho — illustrated records of sweets from the Genroku era (1688–1704). Each design represents a different confection, reflecting Japanese aesthetics and symbolism. These elegant, multi-purpose plates can be used for serving small sweets, condiments, or as decorative dishes for jewellery, incense, or trinkets. Set includes five designs: 1.
