Historical and Design Details: Manufacturer: Carlton China, Made in England. Era: Art Deco (circa 1928-1930s). Pattern Name: "Springtime," Pattern 4754. Shape: Distinctive Octagonal/Polygonal shape, a hallmark of Art Deco design, finished with a subtle gold gilt trim (may show age-related wear). Decoration: Features stylized Swallows (Flying Birds) mid-flight, surrounded by hand-painted Pansy/Floral clusters and grasses, set against a creamy background.
