Vintage Burberry trench made in England. It is in a rare colourway: tonic sage green with a green version of the Burberry house check lining. All buttons are intact and buttonholes are not frayed. The matching belt and cuff belts are there and the buckles are excellent. It has all the usual Burberry details: cape back, gun flap, epaulettes, back vent, button-through pockets. There are two defects. 1) the sleeves were shortened at some point, so I got a tailor to taken them down again as far as was possible, but they are just hemmed with an overlocker as there wasn’t enough material to make a proper hem. 2) there are some lighter spots across the right sleeve, creating a slightly mottled effect. It may be the result of something spraying the coat and bleaching it, or a dry-cleaning disaster. It’s not very noticeable unless you’re very close to it. It’s labelled REG50, so that’s a UK40 or a Large. Apart from the issues described, it’s a great, very wearable coat in good condition, and would be priced accordingly given the rare colour. As it is, it’s priced to sell. Thanks for looking!
